States Overview

The States page allows you to view and control the states of connected doors and devices, view the status and details of controllers and hubs, and view the layout of the door/devices by floor (if configured). The different States displays are available by clicking on the name of the current view.

To access the States dashboard, click the  icon from the Cloud Node dashboard.

Doors and Devices

The Doors and Devices view shows a list of configured Doors and Devices are displayed in alphanumeric order beneath the Filters header. Below the name of each Door or Device is an icon displaying the current status of the Door or Device.

Controllers and Hubs

The 'Controllers and Hubs' view allows you to see all configured Controllers, Cloud Nodes, wireless gateways, Aperio Hubs, and Aperio Locks in the system. For simplicity, Controllers, Nodes, Gateways, Aperio Hubs, and Aperio Locks will be referred to collectively as Controllers.

Map View

The Map View allows you to setup and use a visual representation of the Doors and Devices on an uploaded layout,  blueprint, floor plan or supported image of your choice. 

For information regarding adding the initial Map View or additional Map View images, please refer to How to add a Map View image.

Once the Map View(s) has been setup, you are able to tell the status of and interact with the controls of any door/device on the system in the same manner as in the Doors and Device view. Also, this allows you to know the location of a door in relation to other doors/devices or the site in general. For example, someone stating they the Building B west entrance, you can visually find that door and activate it.
