The Doors and Devices view allows you to see and control the Doors and Devices on the system.
By tapping or clicking on the Icon for a Door or Device in the States window allows you to unlock/activate that Door or Device in the same manner as presenting a Credential for the Door/Device. The Search filter allows the display of Doors and Devices that contain certain names, letters, and/or numbers
Filters
Expanding the Filters section allows a Partner to search for and limit which Devices or Doors are displayed.
- Cloud Nodes - This will display Doors and Devices connected to the selected Cloud Node.
- Type - This will only display Doors, Elevators, or IO devices of the selected type(s).

Controllers & Hubs - This allows you to display only Devices or Doors connected to the selected Controller(s) on the Customer Account.
- States - This will display Doors and Devices currently in the selected State(s). For more information regarding these states, please refer to the following article: Doors and Devices States information
Door State Icons
The Door and Devices view displays a list of configured Doors and Devices in alphanumeric order beneath the Filters header. Different states or conditions are displayed by different icons.
Below is a list of the different icons indicating the state of the Doors/Devices and their corresponding meanings.
Below are the various Door-type Devices available on a Customer Account.
A swinging door | A swinging gate | An overhead door |
A closed Door/Gate in a locked state. | An open Door/Gate in a locked state. |
A Door/Gate is not communicating and was closed when communications were lost. | A Door/gate is not communicating and was open when communications were lost. |
A closed Door/Gate in an Unlocked state. | An open Door/Gate in an Unlocked state. |
A closed Door/Gate in a 'Do Not Disturb' (DND) state. |

Door State Alerts
If there is a problem or potential issue with the state of the door such as the door being propped, having been Forced open, a controller issue occurring, or the Device being Toggled into an unlocked state (remaining unlocked until 'Force Toggle' is again), these conditions will be displayed on the upper left and right areas around the central icon. Below are images showing some of the icons for potential issues.
Device Actions
Tapping or clicking the kabob button (three vertical dots) in the upper right corner of the door or device will allow you to access other options for that door or device.
- For Doors and Premium IO Devices, the following options are available: Unlock or Lock, DND, Force Toggle, Silence Piezo (Red Readers wired OSDP only) and Go to Controller
- For Elevator Readers, the following options are available: Activate Floor, DND, DND Floor and Go to Controller
- For Generic IO Devices, the only option available is Go to Controller.
