Doors and Devices View Options

Below is a listing of the different options available by tapping or clicking the kabob (three vertical dots) in the upper right area of the Door or Device icon.  

Unlock/Lock

If the door/device is currently locked/deactivated, 'Unlock' will be shown. If the door/device is currently unlocked/activated, 'Lock' will be shown. Clicking the option will perform the action shown (locking or unlocking the door). Clicking the downward arrow next to the option, you can specify a time up to 90 minutes to remain unlocked.

DND (Do Not Disturb)/DND Cancel

This option will place the door/device into DND, or Do-Not-Disturb, which will lock/deactivate the door/device and place it into a condition where credentials will be denied unless specific rules are created by a user. When the door/device is in DND mode, tapping/clicking the DND Cancel option will remove the DND option. By tapping/clicking the downward arrow next to the option, you can specify a time up to 90 minutes to remain in DND mode.

Force Toggle

The Force Toggle option will allow a user to unlock/activate a currently locked/deactivated door/device for an indefinite period of time or to cancel an existing Force Toggle command being sent.

If the door/device is currently locked/deactivated, clicking this option will unlock/activate the door/device until a second Force Toggle command is sent. 

If the door/device is currently unlocked/activated from a credential input or unlock command being sent, Force Toggle will cause the door/device to remain unlocked into another Force Toggle command is sent If the door/device is unlocked/activated due to an auto-open rule, clicking the Force Toggle option will lock/deactivate the door/device and the auto-open schedule will not re-activate unless credential input occurs.

Silence Piezo

With the Red-series reader wired using OSDP, the piezo buzzer in the reader is controlled the the software and not a dedicated relay. If the piezo buzzer in the Red-series reader has been triggered and you wish to end the activation early, click this option.

Activate Floor

The Activate Floor option will trigger the relay for the selected floor in the same manner as a credential with floor access being used.

DND Floor

The DND Floor option allows you to deny access to certain floors, even to those with valid credential access. Clicking the option for a floor already in DND mode will remove the restriction.

Go to Controller

Clicking this option will take you the Controllers and Hubs view for the controller for this door/device.
