FAQ: How do I adjust my Cylindrical Lock?

The Red Wireless Cylindrical Locks are adjustable to 1-3/8” to 1-3/4”. Follow this simple guide to adjust when necessary.

1.  Remove the outside lever:

• Standard Cylinder: Use the supplied pick to insert into the hole on the front of the lever. The lever cannot be removed with a pick until the key is inserted and turned 45 degrees.  
• Interchangeable Core: Remove the core from the outside lever with the Control Key. Using a small screwdriver or awl, pull the lever clip back from the inside as shown.

2. Remove tape holding wire to chassis. 

3. Pull the chassis out of the escutcheon and rotate the backplate clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust for door thickness.

4.  Replace the chassis and attach the tape.

5.  Re-install lever:

• Standard Cylinder: Rotate the key while installing
• Interchangeable Core: Insert Core
