Installation Tips

• Mounting Position: Install the Hub on the exterior side of the Lock to ensure the best signal strength.

• Clear Line-of-Sight: The signal strength increases the higher the Hub is mounted. Install the Hub high on the wall or ceiling.
• Avoid Obstructions: Avoid placing the Hub between the Lock and objects such as elevator shafts, concrete walls, metal walls, or metal doors whenever possible, as Bluetooth signals struggle to pass through these materials.
• Range:
  • Line-of-Sight Range: Up to 100 feet in open air.
  • Antennas: The selected antenna type will enhance the signal’s directionality.

• Verify in HubNet:
  • Target an Excellent or Good signal strength (Locks with a Poor signal will experience dropouts and battery drain).
  • Note: HubNet does not update in real time; refresh your browser to see the updated signal after making adjustments.
