How to Perform a Soft Reset on a Red Wireless Lock

Understanding Soft Resets 

A soft reset will clear the access control database (People, Rules, Auto Open, etc.) 

Performing a Soft Reset if the Lock is Online

1. Select Reset Device in the System Health page (After 30 seconds, the LED should flash Blue for 15 seconds)

2. Calibrate the Lock (Deadbolt only)

    

Performing a Soft Reset if the Lock is Offline

1. Delete the Wireless  Lock Device from PDK.io 
2. Hold down the reset button for 3-5 seconds (After 30 seconds, the LED should flash Blue for 15 seconds)
3. Re-add the Lock Device on PDK.io
4. Calibrate the Lock (Deadbolt only) 

NOTES: 

• The Wireless Lock Device can be removed after step two, if it has not been done previously
• If the Connection is not reestablished, the  LED will flash Blue anytime a credential is presented or when a button is pressed

NOTE: A Soft Reset should only be performed when directed by ProdataKey Support.

Finding the Board  

Cylindrical:

1. Remove the Battery Cover
2. Remove the Inside Handle
   1. Insert the key and turn 45°
   2. Insert the lever pick into the hole
   3. Pull off the handle
3. Remove the mounting screws
4. Remove the Inside Escutcheon from the door

Deadbolt:

1. Remove the Battery Cover
2. Remove the mounting screws
3. Remove the Inside Escutcheon from the door
