What is a 'Low Power Mode' state?
A Low Power Mode state occurs when a Controller is operating on battery power for an extended period and the battery's charge has reached a low level. When a Low Power Mode state begins, the Controller will power off any attached Readers and locking hardware. This is done to extend the remaining battery life for the core functions of the Controller.
What issues can result from a Low Power Mode state occurring?
When a Controller is in a Low Power Mode state, any connected readers and fail-safe locking hardware will be powered off, resulting in the devices being unlocked/unsecured.
How do I resolve a Low Power Mode state?
Resolving a Low Power Mode state is done by restoring primary input power to the Controller.
