What is an 'Undervoltage' event?
An Undervoltage event occurs when the external power supply, or battery, connected to a Controller is not providing enough voltage for the Controller. There are a number of possible causes for this to have occurred.
- The input power supply has failed.
- The backup battery is failing.
What issues can result from an Undervoltage event occurring?
When an undervoltage event occurs, the Controller will not have enough voltage to function properly. This will not allow the Controller, and any attached hardware, to function properly.
How do I resolve an Undervoltage event?
Resolving an Undervoltage event is simple; identify and fix the cause.
- Replace the failing input power supply.
- Replace the failing backup battery.
