How to issue a Bluetooth or Mobile App Credential

Issuing a Bluetooth or Mobile App credential begins by going to the People section of the PDK.io website or ProdataKey App with manager-level or higher permissions.

Select the person requiring a Bluetooth or Mobile App credential and tap or click on them.

For the next steps, you will access the Credentials feature in the Person screen. 

Please Note: An email address for the user must be entered and saved in the Person screen to be able to send the credential email and use either Credential type in the ProdataKey App.

From the Person screen, click the plus (+) icon next to Credentials as shown in the image below.

In the Mobile tab, shown below, tap or click the checkbox for Bluetooth and/or Mobile App to add that Credential type to the Person. Then tap or click Add. 

An email from 'ProdataKey Cloud Systems', titled 'Your ProdataKey Credential is Ready' will then be sent to the email address entered for the Person. To redeem the issued Credential, please refer to the article about How to redeem a Bluetooth or Mobile Credential in the ProdataKey App.
