How to redeem a Bluetooth or Mobile Credential in the PDK Access App

Redeeming or activating a mobile or Bluetooth Credential in the PDK Access App is a relatively straightforward process. First, open the Credential email on the mobile device where the PDK Acesss App will be used to begin adding the Credential.

If the PDK Access App has not been installed on the mobile device already, scroll down and tap the Apple AppStore or Android Google Play link appropriate to the mobile device.

In the app store details, tap the Install button and wait for the PDK Access App to download and install. After this is complete, open the PDK Access App.

 

Automatic Activation

The easiest method to redeem or activate the Credential and complete the setup process is to return to the credential email and tap the Activate button.

 

If the Credential fails the automatic redemption, refer to the Manual Activation section below 

 

Confirming Activation

After using the Activate button or activation code, the PDK Access App credential will be active.

Any other Cloud Node system with Credentials, you have access too will also display as a customizable separate card.

Manual Activation

Enter your email in the App to receive a one-time code that allows you to transfer your previously issued credentials. The code expires after 5 minutes. If your email is not registered in the system, you will not receive a code.

After entering the code, you will see a list of your credentials. From there, you can select which credentials you’d like to transfer to your phone.
