First Name - Tap/click this field to change the first name of the Person.
Last Name - Tap/click this field to change the last name of the Person.
Partition - If the person will be assigned to a specific partition, tap/click inside this Partition field or on the down arrow to select a listed partition. The Partition field will only be displayed if partitions beyond the default partition were created. For more information regarding partitions, please refer to our article regarding Partitions.
Active Date - Tap/click this field or click the calendar icon to enter/select the date and time when the Person's profile becomes active.
Expire Date - Tap/click this field or click the calendar icon to enter/select the date and time when the Person's profile is disabled.
Email - Enter the email of the Person if Bluetooth or Mobile App credentials will be issued for the Person.
PIN - If the Cloud Node system includes any keypad readers and a Person will be using a PIN, enter a unique PIN code for the Person in this field.
Duress PIN - The Duress PIN can be entered in two ways: manual entry or generated by the system. If a PIN was entered and no Duress PIN was entered, the system will add a Druess PIN to the Person after saving the changes. This Duress PIN will be the number 9 before the entered PIN.
Add Photo - A picture or image can be added to a Person's details. This picture will be displayed next to events involving them in Live Events and Reports. For more information regarding Adding/Editing photos for a Person, please refer to our article about How to add a Photo to a Person.
Options (Kabob) Menu
Tap or click the Options Icon (also known as a Kabob Icon, shown above) in the upper right corner of the Person window to access additional options for the current Person.
Recent Audit Logs - This allows you to view the ten (10) most recent events and changes for the current Person. For more information regarding this, please refer to our article about Recent Audit Logs.
Anti-Passback Restrictions - This allows you to view and clear any Anti-Passback Restrictions that have occurred for the selected Person. For more information regarding this, please refer to our article about What are Anti-Passback Restrictions?
Credential Self-Help Restrictions - This allows you to view and clear any Credential Self-Help Restrictions that have occurred for the selected Person. For more information regarding this, please refer to our article about Credential Self-Help Restrictions.
Custom Fields - This allows you to review, add, or remove custom fields from the Person. For more information regarding this, please refer to our article about Custom Fields.
Delete -This allows you to delete the currently selected Person. Once a person is deleted from the system, their information is not recoverable.
Credentials, Groups, and Rules
Below the details about the Person are the areas for Credentials, Groups, and Rules. In addition, if certain integrations are enabled for the Customer, additional items may be present in this section.
The Credentials option is used to add physical and mobile credentials to the Person and lists any previously added physical and mobile credentials. For more information regarding this, please refer to our article about Credentials Overview.
The Groups option is used to add the Person to a Group, allowing a shared set of Rules to be applied. For more information regarding this, please refer to our article about Why add People to a Group and how to do this.
The Rules option is used to add Rules that are specific to the Person. For more information regarding this, please refer to our article 'Rules Overview'.
