Overview
The Credential Self-Help feature allows a dealer or administrator to reduce end-user requests to them regarding lost or deleted PDK Access app credentials by enabling end users to request replacement credentials through the app.
All Customer Systems will have the option to enable or disable the issuance of Bluetooth and/or Mobile App Credentials.
Setup
You can adjust the number of times a User can request Replacement Credentials per month before the user must contact the Site Administrator to reset the restrictions on requesting Replacement Credentials. The monthly request limit is selected from the Monthly Credential Resets per User dropdown in the Credentials Settings section of System Settings.
Credential Self-Help Restriction
If an end-user has exceeded the monthly limit for Replacement Credentials, you can reset the Replacement Restriction by tapping or clicking the Person in People. An error message, Credential Reset Exceeded, will appear next to their name.
To clear the restriction, select Clear Restriction on the user's profile. Once this is done, the user will be able to request replacement credentials in the app.
