Authentication App
This allows the User to reset the Two-Factor Authenticator app, such as when the User has a new phone and needs to add the Authenticator app to the new device.
For more information regarding how to do this, please refer to the section about resetting Two-Factor Authentication, which can be found here.
Security Keys
If a User is looking for a hardware security solution instead of using an Authentication app, there are a variety of multi-factor authentication Hardware Security keys for use with PDK.io. While multi-factor security keys are more secure when used properly, hardware keys have drawbacks, including being relatively expensive, having limited operability with certain operating systems, or being incompatible with specific mobile devices.
To set up a security key for a hardware device, tap or click Set Up to add a hardware security key. If a hardware security key was previously added and needs to be removed, tap or click Disable.
SMS
All Users with Integrator permission are required to enter a phone number capable of receiving SMS (Short Message Service, or text) messages for use with multi-factor authentication.
SMS Authentication is only allowed for a single phone number per User, with the entered number displayed on the second line (blanked out for privacy in the image below).
