Configuration - Discovery

The Discovery Tab of the Configuration Page allows an Integrator-Partner to discover Controllers and add Devices to a Cloud Node.

Red-series Controllers using Wireless (WiMac) or Ethernet communications and Legacy PDK Controllers using Wireless communication use the Discovery process to add any associated Devices to that Cloud Node. 

When going to the Discovery Tab, the Cloud Node will automatically begin detecting Red-series Controllers and Legacy wireless Controllers. Both newly detected Controllers and Controllers with previously configured Devices will be displayed, with the names of the configured Devices below the MAC address/IP address. 

After discovering the available Controllers, tap/click on the Controller Address and then tap/click Add Port and follow the steps detailed in the article about adding Devices.

Important Note: The contents of the Discovery tab will refresh from a blank state each time the Discovery tab is clicked on.
