Wireless Module Kit - Part Number: RMW

You can add WiMAC communication to a Red series controller by adding a Red-series Wireless Module Kit (RMW) to the Red-series Controller. The images below show the orientation of the Wireless Module when installing it on a Red 1, Red 2, or Red 4 controller.

After connecting the Wireless Module to the Red-series controller, you will need to attach the included antenna to the wireless module.

Once the wireless module is installed, power the Red Controller on. Once the Controller is powered on, you will need to add the Controller to your Cloud Node system in PDK.io. For more information regarding adding the Controller and device ports to the Cloud Node system, please refer to the article regarding Discovery.

WARNING: Disconnect power before working with the ProdataKey product. DO NOT install the wireless module while power is applied to the controller. Always apply power at the end of the installation after verifying that the module is installed correctly; incorrect installation could cause damage to the wireless module.
