Installation Instructions
- Ensure that the PoE module's pins align with the corresponding holes on the Red 1, Red 2, Red 4, or Aux 8 board. The images below show the module orientation.
- Gently and carefully, press the module onto the board, ensuring it is fully seated and that all pins make good contact with their respective holes.
NOTE: PDK recommends disabling the Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) on any Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) that powers PDK products over POE, POE+, or POE++. The PDK POE module does not support LLDP, and enabling it may cause the POE connection to work improperly or fail.
To enable Power Over Ethernet (PoE) on the Ethernet controller, plug the PoE module into the Red 1, Red 2, Red 4, or Aux 8 board.
