PDK Red Expander Boards accomplish complete scalability, built to customize the Red Max and accomplish all of your system needs. PDK’s Aux 8 expander is an easy-to-install input/output board built to handle any auxiliary devices for your system. The Aux 8 helps you provide full control or monitoring of up to eight different auxiliary devices. Every expander board includes built-in Ethernet connectivity and self-discovery, simplifying ip configuration and functionality.

Red Aux 8 Expander Features

Input Monitoring - Monitor and report on any device tied into the Aux 8 board. Whether door position sensors, push buttons or motion devices, the Aux 8 has you covered.

Power Monitoring - Equipped with an onboard power supply and a fully-supervised power circuit that monitors input, output, battery voltage, and overall controller health.

Plug ‘n’ Play Connectivity -All PDK Red devices were designed to be plug ‘n’ play. That means they’re easy to install right out of the box. It’s simple to add in any PDK Red device no matter how large the job is, and you can quickly scale a system to any size. A Cloud Node can connect up to a thousand devices on a single platform.

Output Triggering - The onboard relays allow for system event triggers such as elevator floor access, arming and disarming alarm panels, and control of HVAC systems.

Self-Discoverable - The Red Aux 8 is automatically discoverable as a connected device by the Cloud Node. When an Ethernet device is connected to the Cloud Node, it pings the node to let the node know that it is there; it is not necessary to enter the IP address because the device is self-discovered.

Module Kits - Additional WiMAC and PoE++ plug-and-play connection kits can be added by purchasing the respective wireless or PoE kit. Plug the module into the Aux 8 board, and it's ready to go.
