When attempting to determine why a Cloud Node on a Customer Account is offline, we recommend walking through the steps detailed in the flowchart below.
When troubleshooting communications issues with Cloud Node, multiple communication ports must be open outbound for the Cloud Node to function properly.
- Port 53 (UDP): DNS lookup
- Port 123 (UDP): Time synchronization
- Port 443 (TCP): Secure communication
