When using People, Group, or System Event rules, the rule requires an Action result to be selected. When the Event rule is processed on the Customer Account, the Action result configured will occur.
Below is a list of the available Action results along with a description of what each Action result means.
- Send Email - Selecting this action will allow an email to be sent to the specified email address(es) using the pre-configured email template. For more information regarding using the Send Email feature, refer to our article about 'How to use the Email Template with Event and System Event rules'.
- Send Push Notification - Selecting this action will allow a Push Notification to be sent to a Permission that has been used to log into the 'Manage' tab in the PDK app. Push Notifications will be displayed in the same manner as other app notifications on the mobile device. For more information about Push Notifications, please refer to the article 'What are 'Push Notifications' and how best to use them.'
- Do Not Disturb - This action toggles the Target door/device into the 'Do Not Disturb' state (if not in this state) or out of the 'Do Not Disturb' state (if in this state). While in the Do Not Disturb state, the door/device will be locked and access attempts will be rejected until the Do Not Disturb state is toggled/canceled.
- Force Toggle - This action toggles the current state of the relay for the Target door/device and maintains this new state until another Force Toggle command is sent.
For example, if the Target door/device is unlocked/activated, a 'Force Toggle' command will lock/deactivate the door/device, and then further normal access attempts will be rejected until another Force Toggle command is sent. - Force Open - This action set the relay for the Target door/device to an unlocked/activated state and will remain in this state until a Force Toggle command is sent.

- Open - This action will unlock/activate the Target door/device until another command that will lock/deactivate the door/device, such as Close, Delay Close, and Open/Close.
- Close - This action will lock/deactivate the Target door/device until another command that will lock/deactivate the door/device, such as Open, Delay Close, and Open/Close.
- Lockdown On - This action toggles the Target door/device into a 'Do Not Disturb' state. While in the Do Not Disturb state, the door/device will be locked and access attempts will be rejected until the Do Not Disturb state is toggled/canceled.
- Lockdown Off - This action will clear a 'Do Not Disturb' state on the door/device and return the door/device to it's default state.
- Open/Close - This action causes the Target Device/Door to unlock/activate and then lock/deactivate the door/device after the Dwell and Delay times listed.
