Overview

The BadgeHub integration automatically syncs BadgeHub users to PDK People whenever a badge is printed or a user is updated, ensuring data consistency across both platforms and maintaining access control.

Configuration

Requirements

The BadgeHub integration is only available for PDK.io 2.0 Customer Accounts.
A Partner with Integrator permission is required to set up the BadgeHub integration. For more information, refer here.
A BadgeHub account with administrative access to the Apps and Integrations sections

Mappings

Select + Add location to begin configuration.

Location Name - Enter the location name.

Partition - Select the PDK Partition.

Match facility codes - Select whether users will sync from BadgeHub to PDK by matching credential number and facility codes.

Select Save.

Webhook Configuration

Copy the following values generated in PDK and paste them into the BadgeHub interface:

Endpoint URL
Authorization Header Value

NOTE: Copy the entire Authorization Header Value, including the word Bearer.

Select + Add location to add additional locations if needed. Complete the remaining setup in the BadgeHub interface.

FAQs

Q: What direction does the data sync?

A: Data syncs one-way from BadgeHub to PDK. Any changes made directly in PDK will not reflect in BadgeHub.

Q: How do I connect to the BadgeHub interface?

Navigate to Integrations, select + to add new, and select/enter the following in BadgeHub:

Type: Webhook
Template: PDK
Name: Enter the location name

Q: Where will the Endpoint URL and Authorization Header Value be pasted in the BadgeHub interface?

A: You will be prompted to add the Endpoint URL and Authorization Header Value after saving the new integration.
