FAQs
Q: Is there a maximum number of license plates that can be assigned to a single user?
A: Yes, each user can have up to 8 configured license plate numbers.
Q: How does the integration handle visually similar characters?
A: The device will still trigger an unlock using fuzzy matching, allowing substitutions if there are visually similar characters (e.g., O/0, B/8, I/1)
Q: Do I need an account with Digital Watchdog, Hanwha, or Nedap to enable this integration?
A: No, a camera account is not necessary, and the integration can function independently.
Q: What will happen if two users have the same License Plate on their accounts?
A: In the Event Report, you will see two separate Device Events generated each time that license plate is detected. Depending on the users' assigned access level, the Report will display either Access Allowed or Access Denied.
