The WiMAC Tool is a web-based utility used by Installation Partners to test and secure Wireless networks.
NOTE: This tool is only compatible with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Range Test Kit
The purpose of the Range Test Kit is to measure the signal strength of your wireless devices to determine the best placement and optimize their performance. Conducting a wireless range test before installation will show where the signal strength is strong or weak, resulting in a better installation.
An important aspect of testing the strength and optimal location of your wireless devices before conducting the range test is understanding your facility’s surroundings. Certain materials, such as metal, elevator shafts, and even vegetation, can easily weaken wireless signals. The range test is recommended to measure signal strength at specific locations and determine where to place your wireless devices for the best reception.
