Installation
This section outlines the steps for installing the ProdataKey Red Hub. Before beginning, read all instructions thoroughly and ensure you understand the Safety Information.
WARNING: Disconnect ethernet and power before servicing the ProdataKey Red Hub.

Pre-Installation Requirements Mounting Instructions
Pre-Installation Requirements
Power
- Power over Ethernet (PoE)
- Optional: 12-24VDC (power supply not included)
Recommended Tools
- Phillips-Head screwdriver
- Drill and 3/8" Drill Bit
- Pencil (to mark hole positions on the mounting surface)
Mounting Instructions
- Mount the Red Hub as centrally located as possible on a wall or ceiling.
- Install both the Red Hub and Cloud Node in a secure, environmentally controlled area.
These instructions enable you to easily and securely fasten the Hub to a wall or ceiling. Before beginning, ensure you have the package contents, tools, and necessary materials for the installation on an appropriate surface (e.g., drywall, wood).
- Use the Red Hub backplate to mark the positions for screws holes and the Ethernet cable to pass through on the wall. Drill holes at the marked location. If mounting to drywall, insert the anchors into the holes to ensure a secure installation.
- Align the backplate with the holes, then fasten the Hub to the wall or ceiling using the provided screws, ensuring it is securely mounted.
NOTES:
- Mounting the Hub higher increases its range for better coverage
- The Hub can communicate with Wireless Locks up to 100 feet line of sight. Environmental factors may reduce this range.
