Overview

The Resideo Total Connect Integration allows users to disarm and arm alarm panels through PDK with a Physical or Digital Credential and syncs People created in PDK.io to the Total Connect 2.0 User database. 

Configuration

Requirements 

• The Resideo Total Connect Integration is only available for PDK.io 2.0 Customer Accounts.
• To use the Integration, the Partner attempting to configure it must have a Total Connect Account.
• A Partner with Integrator permission is required for the initial setup of the Resideo Integration. For more information, refer to the article on Integrations.
• The Integration is compatible with the following Alarm Panels 
  • ProSeries: ProA7, ProA7Plus
  • VISTA H: VISTA H3
  • Vista: 15P, 20P, 21IP, 128BPT, 250BPT
  • Lyric: AIO
  • Lynx: L5200, L7000

NOTE: Radio panels may take longer to disarm. A delayed entrance must be configured

Settings

Select the previously configured Alarm Panel you’d like to configure in the Integration.

Location Mapping

Resideo Location - Select the Resideo location to connect to the PDK system.

Resideo Partition - Select the Resideo Partition that will be connected to the PDK Partition.

PDK Partition - Select the PDK Partition where the Custom Fields will be created.

Arming Devices - Select the PDK Devices that can arm the security system when authorized users use their credentials twice within a 10-second period (Labeled as: Device Cloud Node)

Disarming Devices - Select the PDK Devices that can disarm the security system when authorized users are granted access. (Labeled as: Device Cloud Node)

Sync PINs to user codes - Select whether PINs created in PDK will automatically sync to Resideo user codes.

Manually sync all Resideo users to PDK - Select this to manually sync Resideo users to PDK People.

Manually sync all PDK users to Resideo - Select this to manually sync PDK People to Resideo users. 

Additional Mappings can be configured by selecting Add Partition Mapping.

Select Save and then Return to PDK. 

Integration Logs

Activity logs from the past 30 days are displayed here. Log entries are searchable and refreshable. 

People

A Person must be created or updated, and the Custom Fields will be created automatically in the Partition after the Integration is configured.  The People data will sync the Users in the Total Connect UI. 

Required People Information

To ensure a Person is successfully provisioned and synced, the following fields must be completed in the system:

• First and Last Name
• Email 
• PIN
• Credential: Card, Fob, Bluetooth, or Mobile Button
• Access Rule: Must be assigned to the PDK Devices selected in the Location Mapping configuration 
• All Custom Fields
  • Resideo Location Toggle: Must be enabled for the specific site
  • User Type: Select desired role for each User 
    • Panel Only - User can only arm or disarm the system locally 
    • Standard Access - User can manage the system locally and remotely via the TC2 mobile app or web browser
  • User Code: (Conditional, see below)

When is a User Code required?

The User Code field does not need to be filled out for every Person. It is only required if one of the following conditions applies: 

1. Code Customization: The Person wants a separate 4-digit Resideo code that is different from their PDK PIN. 

2. Character Limits: Resideo requires a 4-digit code. If the Person’s primary PDK PIN is longer than 4 digits, you must enter a 4-digit User Code to ensure compatibility with Resideo. 

    

NOTE: If the PDK PIN is already 4 digits and the Person prefers to use it for both systems, the User Code field can remain blank.
