The Ethernet Gateway is used to extend the Wimac wireless signal anywhere on the local network. It also gives you the ability to control doors in multiple buildings connected to the same network. It runs on the same frequency as our controllers, which is 2.4 GHz on the 802.15.4 channel. The Ethernet Gateway features a one-mile perfect line-of-sight range, and a 450 ft. average for indoor applications. It is also AES 128-bit encrypted, meeting government level security requirements.
These instructions walk you through setting up and configuring the Pro Wireless Ethernet Gateway. This gateway may be used with a variety of networks as long as it is properly configured and routed through the network. It may be helpful to work with IT personnel to assist in getting the network configured properly with these setup instructions to make the Pro Wireless Ethernet Gateway a viable solution.

Programming the Gateway
If the Wireless to Ethernet Gateway is going to be installed with wireless communication range re is (or will be) another ProdataKey Cloud Node system installed nearby, it is highly recommended to re-program the Site Name and Passphrase of the Pro Wireless Gateway and all devices intended to connect to the Pro Wireless Gateway. If the Gateway and its devices will be the only Pro Wireless system in the area, it does not need to be reprogrammed. Reprogramming is only necessary to avoid cross-talk between another Pro Wireless network.
The Pro Wireless Config can be used with a Programming Kit to make these adjustments. Doing this ensures a quick and reliable connection between all devices.
