The Cloud Node gets its Time Zone setting from the pdk.io cloud servers. Time zones are used for Recent Audit Logs (under Person, Group, and Device pages) as well as in the Reports and Live Events sections. If the incorrect time zone is set, rules may not function as expected and logged events will show the incorrect time.
To set the proper Time Zone, select the Configuration icon in the Cloud Node Appliances home screen.
Select the CONFIG tab in the Configuration screen.
In the Common section of the CONFIG tab, select the Region and then the Time Zone associated with the region.
Select the appropriate Region will limit Time Zone selections in the drop-down menus.
IMPORTANT: Remember to set the appropriate time zone for daylight savings time. If there are groups that are not 24-hour access, the cards may not work if the time zone is off.
The list of time zones can be filtered by selecting the appropriate Region. Select the correct Region and then the Time Zone associated with the location where the Cloud Node is installed. Time zones are used for Recent Audit Logs (for the Person Details, Group Details, Door Details pages) as well as in the Reports and Live Events scections of PDK.io.
NOTE: Be sure to indicate the proper time zone during daylight savings time (if applicable).
