How to redeem a Bluetooth or Mobile Credential in the ProdataKey App

Redeeming or activating a mobile or Bluetooth Credential in the  ProdataKey App is a relatively straightforward process. First, open the Credential email on the mobile device where the ProdataKey App will be used to begin adding the Credential.

If the ProdataKey App has not been installed on the mobile device already, scroll down and tap the Apple 'AppStore' or Android  'Google Play' link appropriate to the mobile device.

In the app store details, tap the Install button and wait for the ProdataKey app to download and install. After this is complete, open the ProdataKey App.

Automatic Activation

The easiest method to redeem/activate the Credential and complete the setup process is to return to the credential email and tap the Activate button.

If the Credential fails the automatic redemption, refer to the Manual Activation section below 

Confirming Activation

After using the Activate button or activation code, the ProdataKey App credential will be active.

The Locations tab will now display any Cloud Node systems with Credentials in the app and by tapping on the system, any available doors will be displayed.

Manual Activation

If redeeming the Credential using the Activate button fails, an Activation Code in the email can be used to manually add the credential to the ProdataKey App.
This can be done by manually entering the Activation Code from the email in the 'Activate Manually' field, accessible by tapping Account from the main window, then Credentials. 

Alternatively, this can be done by tapping and holding on the activation code in the email and tapping Copy.

Then open the ProdataKey app, tap Account, then tap Credentials, then tap and hold inside the 'Activate Manually' field, and then tap the 'Paste' option. With the activation code copied in the field, tap the Activate button in the ProdataKey App.
